It was earlier in the day. Seasoned turkey burger marinated in marinara sauce, (left over sauce was reduced and used as a base under the burger on the bun), topped with provolone, lightly fried salami. Served with fries and coleslaw.
But now is whiskey time. Tullamore Dew. It’s not as smooth as Jameson or a Bushmills malt but at £16, it’s inexpensive and pleasant enough to drink.

I was going to do a beef burger marinated in sriracha, lime and teriyaki sauce, top it with a slice of fried pineapple. Maybe with a slice of mozzarella cheese.
I’ve wagyu beef burgers, and they are way too good to marinade.

You should expand your service. “I’ll clean your car first then cook and pour you a drink.” I’ve seen worse business plans for startups.
I know that you are just cleaning other peoples’ cars out of the kindness of your heart, but should you ever turn it into a business, this would be your unique selling point.

I like your thinking.
If I ever came into a sizeable amount of cash I’d have a large garage with an indoor and an outdoor wash area, inside bays and a TV area and a bar.
Something along the lines of unifying all these.

It’s nice don’t get me wrong but if it was a toss up between Jameson, Bushmills malt, Teeling or Auchentoshan*.
It would be my last one.
*granted the Auchentoshan is a Scotch, but triple distilled.

You can’t eat it like that! That burger still needs lettuce, tomato, onions, ketchup, mayo, relish, mustard and jalapeno peppers.
And where’s the ketchup for the fries?

I think there was sufficient tomato in the marinara sauce.
I’m, ‘meh’ about lettuce on burgers really.
I like ketchup but usually get berated for having tomato sauce anywhere in the picture.
The fries were seasoned.

I know it’s a small difference, but I swear, dipping my burgers into ketchup was an absolute game changer compared to just drizzling the ketchup on the patty

I like a chilli chutney on my burgers more now.
